About Cabinets, Drawers, Folders and Documents

Cabinet

This is created when you contract Working Folder.
This is a top-level target of Working Folder.

Shared drawer (writable)

This is created directly under a cabinet by an administrator.
All administrators and users can perform the functions described in "What You can Do with DocuWorks Extended Folder for Working Folder".

Shared drawer (read-only)

This is created directly under a cabinet by an administrator.
All administrators and users can perform the following operations.

• Downloading a document
• Searching for documents
• Displaying folders and documents in detail

Secure Drawer

This is created directly under a cabinet by an administrator.
Users can upload DocuWorks documents(.xdw), DocuWorks binders(.xbd), and PDF files(.pdf) to a Secure Drawer from their web browser and DocuWorks Extended Folder for Working Folder.
Any documents in a Secure Drawer cannot be downloaded. Documents in a Secure Drawer can only be viewed via a web browser. They cannot be viewed in DocuWorks Extended Folder for Working Folder.

Personal drawer

One drawer is automatically created for every administrator account and standard user account.
This is not created for restricted users.
Only logged in users can see their own personal drawers and can perform the functions described in "What You can Do with DocuWorks Extended Folder for Working Folder".

Encryption drawer (writable)

This is created directly under a cabinet by an administrator.
Users can use this drawer if Working Folder Plus is contracted.

When a file is uploaded to this drawer, the file is converted to an encrypted DocuWorks file and registered. You can set the file with authorization settings for individual users.

Encryption drawer (read-only)

This is created directly under a cabinet by an administrator.
Users can use this drawer if Working Folder Plus is contracted.

Users are allowed to perform the following operations.

• Downloading encrypted documents
• Searching for encrypted documents
• Displaying the details of encrypted document

Encryption drawer with template

This is created directly under a cabinet by an administrator.
Users can use this drawer if Working Folder Plus is contracted.

When a file is uploaded to this drawer, the file is converted to an encrypted DocuWorks file and registered. The file is applied with authorization settings specified in the protection settings template.

Folder

This is created by an administrator or a user.
It can be created directly under a drawer or under another folder.

Folder set with [Individual Settings]

This is a folder with its permission setting, [Inherit Parent Permission] set to [Individual Settings], different from the one of the parent folder.

Temporary Folder

When you specify a URL to open a cabinet, drawer, folder or document, the specified item is displayed in [Temporary Folder].

Last Used File

Files with which you have worked are displayed.

Extended Folder (Local)

This is a folder where documents checked out using [Check Out to Extended Folder (Local)] will be downloaded.

Varies depending on the document type.

This is uploaded by an administrator or a user.
It can be uploaded directly under a drawer or to a folder.
