Use this command to display the specified DocuWorks file in the [DocuWorks Viewer Light] window.
When you select this command, the [Open DocuWorks Document] dialog box appears.
Select a document, then click [Open].
The specified document then appears.
If the file is a protected document with the use of a password, the [Password] dialog box appears. Enter an open password.
You can open a document protected by an Electronic Signature only when an Electronic Signature permitted to be opened is in [My Signature] of an Electronic Signature Case and also the Electronic Signature Case is open.
If the document is protected by a Digital Certificate, it opens when the certificate that was used to configure the security is registered with [Personal] in the Windows Certificate Manager.
You can open signed documents. But the mark showing verification status is not displayed. For signed documents you cannot hide annotations.
Note
  • You can open a document in Windows Explorer, the desktop, or Desk by dragging-and-dropping it to the Viewer Light window.
  • When a document opens, the mouse pointer changes to a hand shape. Dragging the mouse allows you to scroll the displayed page up, down, left or right.
  • You can jump from a link annotation pasted on a document, to the link destination. When you place a mouse over the link annotation, the shape of the mouse pointer changes. Left-clicking the mouse button allows you to jump to the linked destination.
  • When you view a DocuWorks container in Viewer Light, only the first page is displayed.
