[Capture Image] dialog box
This dialog box appears when you select [Options] in the [Capture Image] from the [Page] menu.
Use this dialog box to specify the resolution, area shape, and color of the image during capturing and copying of an image.

[Resolution]
Specify the resolution.
The default is [75 dpi].

You can enter an integer between 75 and 600 in [Resolution].
[Specification Method]
You can select the area to be cut or copied with either a rectangle or a polygon. The default is [Rectangle].
Note
A polygon area can have a maximum of 256 vertexes.
[Color/Monochrome]
Select color or monochrome.
The default setting is [Color].

[Convert to monochrome with priority in image quality]
When this box is selected, if you are to convert an image into a monochromatic image, two-level conversion is executed ensuring the higher image quality. If this box is cleared, the conversion is executed based on the operating system feature of two-level conversion.
This option can be activated when [Monochrome] is selected. The box is selected by default.

[Show this dialog for the next capture image]
Displays this dialog box the next time an image is captured.
If the box is selected, the [Capture Image] dialog box appears every time an image is copied or cropped.

[OK]
Saves the settings and closes the dialog box. You can capture or copy the image according to the specified settings the next time. The settings will also take effect in other newly activated Viewer windows.
