[Page Number] tab [Setup Header/Footer] dialog box

Use this tab to specify the page number.

[Format]

Enter a text string indicating the page number. You can specify more than one line including a carriage return. The symbol "#" can be used as a character string substitute for the actual page number. When you want to use the symbol "#" as a character, enter backslash "\" immediately before "#".
Examples:
[PAGE] to [PAGE]
[- # -] to [- 123 -]
[# / 25] to [13 / 25]
[p. #] to [p. 24]
[\#] to [#]
[\\] to [\\]
[\A] to [\A]
Note
If the text string is too long, it may jut out from the page.

[Font]

Specify the font setting.
When you click this button, the [Font] dialog box appears.

[Position]

Specify the position of the page number.
The default setting is [Bottom].

[Alignment]

Select the page number alignment.
The default is [Center].

[Top/Bottom margin]

Enter the top margin when [Top] is selected for [Position] and the bottom margin when [Bottom] is selected for [Position].
The default is 5 mm. You can enter an integer from 0 to 50 mm.

[Left/Right margin]

Specify the left margin when [Left] is selected for [Alignment] and the right margin when [Right] is selected for [Alignment].
The default is 5 mm. You can enter an integer from 0 to 50 mm.

[Starting number]

Specify the page number of the starting page.
The default is [1]. You can enter an integer between 1 and 9999999.

[Number of digits]

Specify the settings for number of digits of page number. You can enter an integer between 1 and 10.

[Target]

Specify the range of pages where page number is pasted.
The default is [All].
  • [All]
    The image is pasted to all pages.
  • [Pages]
    Range of pages is specified by the starting page and ending page.
    For binders, enter page numbers serially within the binder.
