Setting Up the Viewer Operating Environment
This topic describes the various operating environment settings available in Viewer and how to set them up. You can specify these settings in the [Preferences] dialog box.
Configurable operating environment settings
You can specify the Viewer operating environment by using the following options under [DocuWorks Viewer Options] in the [Preferences] dialog box.
- [When Starting Up]
Use this tab to make various settings that determine how Viewer starts up, including the initial cursor mode, the angle expressing thickness of pages in a document, the initial display format, the initial window size, the continuous annotation mode, turn & scroll page setting, whether to display in full screen view, and how to split for the page sorter and document view and split document view. - [View]
Use this tab to set the zoom ratio and specify whether to show the security setting when opening a document. - [Full Screen Display]
Use this tab to set the zoom ratio for full screen view and specify whether to display the control panel. - [Signature]
Use this tab to specify the action to perform when you select [Write Signature and Save As] from the [File] menu. - [Design]
Specify the settings for background color of selected string, highlight color for text, and displayed style of the window. - [Others]
Use this tab to specify the default path for saving a new DocuWorks document or a binder, and whether to insert line feeds when you copy texts.
Setting up the Viewer operating environment
Procedure
1.
Select [DocuWorks Settings] from the [File] menu.
The [Preferences] dialog box appears.

Select the desired options under [DocuWorks Viewer Options] and click [OK].
The [Preferences] dialog box closes. The changes take effect the next time you start the Viewer or open a document.
