Displaying the InfoView
This topic describes how to display and manipulate the InfoView.
Showing and hiding InfoView
Procedure
1.
Select [InfoView] from the [View] menu.
The InfoView is displayed if the InfoView had not been displayed.
If the InfoView had been displayed, close the InfoView.
Or, you can click the [X] button at the top right corner of the InfoView.
If the InfoView had been displayed, close the InfoView.
Or, you can click the [X] button at the top right corner of the InfoView.
Changing the active view
Press <Ctrl> + <Tab> keys or <Shift> + <Ctrl> + <Tab> keys to toggle the active view between InfoView and document view.
Changing the display mode of InfoView
InfoView has 2 display modes:
- Docking mode
The InfoView window is fixed to the top, bottom, right, or left boundary of the Viewer window. - Floating mode
The position of the InfoView window is not fixed but it is always displayed on top of the Viewer window.
Note
If you change the display mode of InfoView, it will be inherited when you open the Viewer next time.
Switching from docking mode to floating mode
There are 3 methods:
- Place the cursor on the title bar of the InfoView and drag-and-drop it to anywhere outside the Viewer window or to the center of the Viewer window.
- Place the cursor on the InfoView title bar and drag-and-drop it to the desired position while holding down the <Ctrl> key.
- Double-click the InfoView title bar.
InfoView is displayed in floating mode at the position where it was located the last time it was displayed in floating mode.
Switching from floating mode to docking mode
There are 2 methods:
- Place the cursor on the title bar of the InfoView and drag-and-drop it to the top, bottom, right, or left boundary of the Viewer window.
- Double-click the InfoView title bar.
The InfoView is displayed in docking mode at the position where it was located the last time it was displayed in docking mode.

Place the cursor on the title bar of the InfoView and drag-and-drop it to the top, bottom, right, or left boundary of the Viewer window.
Navigating tabs with shortcut keys
- Press <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <PageDown> keys to select the tab located to the right of the currently selected tab.
- Press <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <PageUp> keys to select the tab located to the left of the currently selected tab.
Showing and hiding the tabs
You can show or hide each tab of the InfoView as follows:
Procedure

Select [Display Tabs in InfoView] from the [View] menu, then select the tab you want to show or hide.
You can also right-click the mouse on the title bar of InfoView or on the tab name to select a tab you want to show or hide.

The tab which was hidden is displayed.
The tab which was shown is hidden.
The tab which was shown is hidden.
Modifying tab order
Drag the tab which you want to move and drop it to a desired position in the tab area to change the tab order.
