Deactivating License Authentication/Transferring the License(DocuWorks Tray)
Describes how to use the License Management Screen to deactivate the DocuWorks Tray license and remove the serial number from your computer.
Note
- If you need to uninstall DocuWorks Tray, before you uninstall it, be sure to "deactivate the license" and "remove the serial number from your computer".
- If you purchase a new PC and want to transfer DocuWorks Tray to it, first perform "license deactivation" and "removal of the serial number" on the old PC, then install DocuWorks Tray and activate the license on the new PC.
- In case you cannot perform "license deactivation" and "removal of the serial number" due to some reason such as damage on the PC, please contact your local FUJIFILM Business Innovation representative or the FUJIFILM Business Innovation Support website described in "Support Contact for License Activation".
Deactivating the License via the Internet
Procedure
1.
Log on as a user who belongs to the Administrators group.
2.
Open [License Activator] (License Management Screen) using one of the following steps.
- Select [Start] > [FUJIFILM DocuWorks] > [DocuWorks Tray] > [License Management Screen (DocuWorks Tray)].
- Launch DocuWorks Tray, right-click the tray management icon on the task tray, and then select [License Management] > [License Management Screen] in the popup menu.
Note
If the [User Account Control] dialog box appears, click [Yes].
3.
Select [Deactivate License Online], and click [Next].
4.
Select [DocuWorks Tray], and click [Next].
5.
Click [Finish].
Whenever you start DocuWorks Tray after deactivating the license, you will see the message "Unable to execute as license has not been activated".
If you have performed deactivation before the trail period expires, the software reverts to the trial edition.
If you have performed deactivation before the trail period expires, the software reverts to the trial edition.
6.
Start DocuWorks Tray.
7.
If a dialog box indicating that you cannot run the application because the license is not yet activated appears, click [License Management Screen].
When DocuWorks Tray launches as a trial edition, right-click the tray management icon on the task tray of Windows, and then select [License Management] > [License Management Screen] in the popup menu.

8.
Select [Delete Serial Number], and click [Next].
9.
Select [DocuWorks Tray], and click [Next].
10.
Click [Yes] in the dialog box confirming deletion of the serial number.
11.
Click [Finish].
Deactivating Your License with File
Procedure
1.
Log on as a user who belongs to the Administrators group.
2.
Open [License Activator] (License Management Screen) using one of the following steps.
- Select [Start] > [FUJIFILM DocuWorks] > [DocuWorks Tray] > [License Management Screen (DocuWorks Tray)].
- Launch DocuWorks Tray, right-click the tray management icon on the task tray, and then select [License Management] > [License Management Screen] in the popup menu.
Note
If the [User Account Control] dialog box appears, click [Yes].
3.
Select [Deactivate License via E-mail], and click [Next].
4.
Select [DocuWorks Tray], and then click [Browse] to specify the output destination and file name of the license deactivation file.
Note
The default output destination is the desktop. The default file name is "LRT.dat".
5.
Check the settings for [Output Destination (Deactivation File)], and then click [Next].
6.
Click [Finish].
7.
Start DocuWorks Tray.
Whenever you start DocuWorks Tray after deactivating the license, you will see the message "Unable to execute as license has not been activated".
If you have performed deactivation before the trail period expires, the software reverts to the trial edition.

8.

9.
Select [Delete Serial Number], and click [Next].
10.
Select [DocuWorks Tray], and click [Next].
11.
Click [Yes] in the dialog box confirming deletion of the serial number.
12.
Click [Finish].
13.
Use your web browser to visit the URL for the page to deactivate an uploaded file, located in "FUJIFILM BI Direct" at.

14.
Fill in [User ID(E-mail Address)] and [Password], and click the [Login] button.
A page for you to upload a file appears.
15.
Check that the [Cancel Activation] tab is displayed, and click the [Browse] button.
16.
Select the exported license activation cancellation file, and click the [Open] button.
Note
You can also drag and drop the license activation cancellation file directly.
17.
Check that the file name is displayed in the File field, and click the [Send] button.
The message "Received file processing request." appears.
18.
You will receive an email sent from "FUJIFILM BI Direct" notifying you of the completion of the license deactivation processing.
19.
Click the URL for the [Processing Result List] screen indicated in the email message to display the FUJIFILM BI Direct [Processing Result List] screen in your web browser.
20.
Check that the [Result] column corresponding to the receipt number shown in the email message indicates "OK."
