Paste Annotation Plugin

Paste Annotation Plugin pastes a registered annotation without opening the DocuWorks file you selected in the Workspace.
Annotations or comments can be pasted on the current page only or on all pages of the file.
Note
They can only be pasted on the surface of a DocuWorks container. They cannot be pasted on documents stored in a container.

For PDF documents, the comments that can be pasted are Text Comment, Text Box, Text Callout, Sticky Note, Line, Rectangle, Oval, Highlight, Underline, and Strikethrough.
In addition, there are the following restrictions.
  • Comment Properties
    • The start and end positions and the styles of annotations may differ from the original forms. Editing annotations sometimes restores them into the original forms.
  • Text Comment, Text Box, and Text Callout
    • The text wrap position is not taken over.
    • Text Comment, Text Box, and Text Callout will be pasted as text boxes.
  • Pop-up notes
    • Even if there is a reply, the reply will not be inherited (only the description will be inherited).
    • If the width or height is larger than the page to be pasted, it will be reduced, and if it is out of the page, it will be moved.
