About the Page Layout Plug-in
The page layout plug-in allows you to create from an existing DocuWorks document, DocuWorks binder, or PDF document a new document in the following page layouts:
- Resizing a page and scales the page content to fit into the resized page.
- Combining multiple pages and lays them out on a page.
- Arranging the page layout for a brochure.
By creating a document using the page layout plug-in, you can obtain desired printouts even from a printer which does not support the above feature. It is recommended to set printer settings at the time you create a new document, if the document is to be printed frequently with the same settings.
Note
The document for the purpose of a brochure can be created from a DocuWorks document or DocuWorks binder. It cannot be created from a PDF document.
When you print a brochure, print the document arranged for a brochure on both sides. You can stack the printouts and fold it at the center to create a brochure with pages in due order.
