About the Extract Image Plug-in

The extract image plug-in processes only the image pages. The plug-in extracts and outputs image files without converting the data format of the source pages. This allows high processing speed that is convenient when you want to output large amounts of DocuWorks documents that were imported by scanner as image files at one time. Also, when using this plug-in, you can export to the original image file size from an A3 DocuWorks document created by reducing data larger than A3 when scanned.
Use the image converter plug-in if resolution or the number of colors needs to be specified in the converted image.
The output image file format of the extract image plug-in varies depending on the data format of the source page. The following table shows the relationship between the data format of the source page and the possible output image file format.

Note
  • For documents containing pages created by an application and image pages, the ones will not be processed and the others will be output as an image file.
  • There are two ways to check page properties.
    • When you select a document or a binder in thumbnail view of Desk, the properties of the selected item appears in the status bar. It also appears on the [Properties] window of the InfoView.
    • Open a document or a binder and confirm it on the [Page Properties] tab in the Viewer InfoView.
