Cautions on Extended Folder
This topic describes cautions and restrictions on extended folders.
Operations when dragging-and-dropping the file in the extended folder to the user folder, link folder or extended folder (local)
- DocuWorks files cannot be moved but copied when being dragged-and-dropped from the extended folder to the user folder.
- Files other than DocuWorks files can be moved or copied when being dragged-and-dropped from the extended folder to the user folder, depending on the Desk settings.
- When [Show files other than DocuWorks files] is selected in [View] under [DocuWorks Desk Options] in the [Preferences] dialog box, files cannot be moved but copied. When you drag-and-drop the file while pressing the <Alt> key, it is converted to the DocuWorks document.
- When [Show files other than DocuWorks files] is cleared in [View] under [DocuWorks Desk Options] in the [Preferences] dialog box, files are converted to the DocuWorks document and imported. However, they cannot be moved.
