Notes About Sharing DocuWorks Documents

The following table describes what kind of operations you can perform on a DocuWorks file with Viewer or Viewer Light when the file is already in use by another user. When sharing DocuWorks documents, perform operations consulting the following table.

When using Viewer
File opening is possible.
However, since a copy of the file is created and the copy is opened, no edits can be made.
When using Viewer Light
File opening is possible.
Note
A file which is set to be read-only by Windows property settings or a file that is protected against writing by an access restriction setting made on a server is opened in Viewer in read-only mode.
