Encrypting Documents

You can encrypt your document by uploading to the encryption drawer of Working Folder.
Note that the following limitations apply:
  • This function is disabled if you are logged in with an account other than that for FUJIFILM BI Direct.
You also cannot open documents located in an encrypted drawer.
  • Files uploadable to the encryption drawer are the files that can be converted to DocuWorks files (.xdw/.xct/.xbd) or DocuWorks document (.xdw).
  • Files other than DocuWorks files are converted to DocuWorks document when uploaded. Once uploaded, original file format is not retained.
  • If the [Protection Initial Settings Template] dialog box is displayed when uploading documents to an encryption drawer, the documents will be uploaded with the authorization settings specified in the dialog box even if you disable the template function in the [Administrator-Working Folder] page.
Also, after the [Protection Initial Settings Template] dialog box is displayed, documents are not uploaded if you access Working Folder using the web browser and enable the template function or modify the settings of the protection settings template in the [Administrator-Working Folder] page.
Note
  • When you first upload a document to an encrypted drawer, the [Enable Working Folder Encryption Feature] dialog box appears.
[Account Name] shows the user ID of the Working Folder login user. To log in, enter the password in [Password].
  • If there already is a document that has the same name in the destination encryption drawer, the uploaded document's name will be the original document name with "-{sequential number starting at 2}" such as "{original document name}-2" or "{original document name}-3".
