[Document Information] Group

Allows you to apply a fixed set of document information to be displayed on the document properties dialog box of the PDF viewer.
Enter a text string in [Title], [Author], [Subtitle], and [Keyword].
Note
The document information from the original application such as Word is not recognized.

[Output document information as meta data]

When you enable [Output document information as meta data], the document information (title, creator, subtitle, keywords) that is normally output as an element within the PDF can be output as metadata.
*This will always be set if the PDF Version is 2.0.
*This will always be set if conforming standard is for PDF/A or PDF/X.

[Display setting for output PDF] Group

The initial settings can be changed when displaying the PDF on the viewer.
Note
The settings for when displaying the outputted PDF are embedded in the PDF. The issues of how much the information embedded in the PDF can be loaded and in what way the loaded content will be reflected in regard to the display settings may vary depending on the PDF viewer used.

[Display navigator]

Navigator display settings for the Viewer when the outputted PDF is opened.
[Page Only] Will depend on the viewer used.
[Bookmarks Panel] Displays the Bookmarks panel on the Navigator.
[Thumbnails panel] Displays the panel for thumbnail display on the Navigator.
[Attachments panel] Displays the attached files panel on the Navigator.


[Zoom]

Display magnification for when the outputted PDF is opened.
[None] Will depend on the viewer used.
[Fit width] Displays with a magnification matched to the viewer’s width
[Fit page] Displays with a magnification that makes it possible to display one entire page in the viewer’s display area
[25%] to [1000%] Displays at the assigned magnification

[None] Will depend on the viewer used.
[Single page] Displays one page at a time.
[Two-Up] Displays two pages at a time.
[Two-Up(Cover)] Displays the first page as a cover page, and displays two pages at a time after the second page.
[Single page Continuous] Displays each page continuously.
[Two-Up Continuous] Displays two pages continuously.
[Two-Up Continuous(Cover)] Displays the first page as a cover page, and displays two pages continuously after the second page.

Page number of the page to be displayed at the start when the outputted PDF is opened

[Link] Group

[Automatically Convert URLs to PDF Weblinks]

Check when automatically converting URLs and email addresses included in the original document to hyperlinks.
Note
  • The addresses starting with "http://", "https://", and "ftp://" are recognized as URL.
    The text strings (alpha-numeric characters and symbols only) starting with "mailto::" or provided in "xxx@xxx.xxx" format is recognized as email addresses.
  • Even when this check box is deselected, hyperlinks may be applied depending on the PDF viewer in use.
    To display hyperlinks regardless of the PDF viewer type or version, select the check box.
