[Search Attributes - DocuWorks Document Property Entry] dialog box

Set attributes you want to define for the document type, and the registration destination.

[Basic] tab

[Search location]

Click [Browse], and specify the location where to search for documents.

[Search subfolders also]

Select whether to search sub-folders of the folder specified in [Search location] as well.

[Document Type]

Select this option to make the attributes defined for the selected document type available in [Attribute Name].

[Do not include document type in conditions]

Select whether to include document types in search criteria.
Note
To search for documents that were given attributes with Document Attribute Plug-in for DocuWorks, you must select this check box.

[Match all conditions] and [Match any condition]

Select how your search criteria are matched.

[Attribute Name]

Select the attribute name of the documents you want to search for, from the pulldown menu.

[Value]

Items corresponding to the type of the selected attribute are displayed.
For Text, List (Text), or Fixed List (Text)
Enter a text string to search for, and select [Exact] or [Include].
For Numeric
Enter a range of numeric values to search for.
For Date
Enter a range of dates to search for.
When Yes or No
Select [Yes] or [No].

[Detailed settings] tab

[Target File]

Select the check box for the file to search for.

[Do not differentiate (text search)]

For text search, select the check for the type of character the search does not distinguish.

Buttons

[Search]

Runs the search with the specified criteria.

[Save conditions]

Saves the specified criteria.
Note
The setting for [Search Location] cannot be saved.

[Clear conditions]

Clears the specified criteria and restores the default settings.

[CSV output]

Outputs the search results to a CSV file.

[Replace]

Displays the [Replace] dialog box.
The dialog box allows you to replace attributes in a batch by specifying an attribute name.
