For information on how to add a plug-in to the toolbar or task toolbar, refer to Adding Plug-in or Changing Setting.
Set information required to use [Document Property Entry (Edit Attributes)]. These settings can be done for each plug-in icon you added to a toolbar or Task Toolbar.
Procedure
1.
Right-click [Document Property Entry (Edit Attributes)] on the Desk toolbar, and select [Properties].
The [Preferences] dialog box appears.

On the [Basic] tab, select [On] or [Off] for [Document preview confirmation when registering attributes].
If you select [Off], no operation screen will appear when you run the plug-in. Giving attributes to and registering documents are done automatically according to the preference settings.

Select [Author information] from either [Use Windows login user name] or [Use the following user name].
If you select [Use the following user name], also enter the user name to be used in the text box.
Note
The user name set in [Author information] will appear in [User Name] under [Author information] on the operation screen, or in the log file for DocuWorks Document Property Entry.
4.
Set [Save author information to file].
When the [Save author information to file] check box is selected, at the time you register or temporarily save a document, the user name set in [Author information] will be given to the file as an attribute name.
In addition, if configured so that CSV file is output when a document is registered, the user name will also be written to the CSV file.

Set [Show image information].
Clearing the [Show image information] check box will hide image information on the operation screen.

In [Default value for document type] for [Settings for each button], set [Document Type].

In [Destination settings], select from among [Register to folder], [Register to tray], and [Register to Working Folder].
- If you select [Register to folder]
Click [Browse] and set the top-level folder in the hierarchy of folders with which to register classified files. - If you select [Register to tray]
From the drop-down list, select a DocuWorks Tray that you want to specify as the registration destination. This item can be selected only when DocuWorks Tray 2.1 or later is installed.
Note
If you select [Register to tray], an operation such as creating a folder in the registration destination to save files in it or outputting a CSV file upon registration cannot be done.
- If you select [Register to Working Folder]
Click [Browse] and log in to Working Folder.
After you successfully log in, the [Browse for folder] dialog box appears.
Expand the desired tree node in the cabinet list, select a folder you want to specify as the registration destination, and click [OK].
[Root folder location] shows the URL for web browsers indicating the registration destination you have selected.
Note
- The [Browse for folder] dialog box shows cabinets containing drawers for which the current user has write permission.
Possible drawers are "Shared drawer," " Evidence Management Drawer" (if you have a contract for the Evidence Management option for Working Folder), and "Personal drawer." - If you selected the [Auto login next time] check box on the [Login] screen, the [Login] screen will not appear the next time you click the [Browse] button. To switch to, for example, another login user, you must execute [Logout].

Click the [Detailed Settings] tab.
9.
Click [Browse] for [Log file settings] and set the output destination folder for log files.
10.
Set [Enable View Settings].
Select the [Enable View Settings] check box to display buttons for saving the document display position, zoom ratio and page count, to the right of the entry fields for attribute information on the operation screen.
11.
Set [OCR settings].
Click [Settings] and configure the settings for character recognition to be applied when running the Copy Image feature on an operation screen.
12.
Click [OK].
