Keyboard: Pressing the <F4> key toggles between the [Scrolling Mode] and this mode.
Use this command to change the mouse operation to text selecting mode. In the text selecting mode, the mouse pointer changes to the "+ A" shape. You can select text by dragging the mouse on a page. Text of an application page can be selected in units of character and text of an image page OCR (character recognition) result can be selected in units of line or page.
Note
- You cannot select a text that spans multiple pages.
- If you right-click the mouse and select the [Select All] pop-up menu, all of the texts that can be selected from the displayed page are selected.
- If you select the body text and select the [Start Web Browser] pop-up menu, the web browser starts up with the selected text string as the URL.
When you select the text annotation or select nothing then click [Start Web Browser] pop-up menu, the web browser starts up with the address left blank.
