Customizing the Annotation Toolbar

This topic describes how to customize Annotation Toolbar shown in your Pencil Case.
Note
  • You can customize the frequently used Annotation Toolbar. Recently used annotations cannot be customized.
  • Customization made to the Annotation Toolbar in your Pencil Case is also applied to its source Annotation Toolbar. Similarly, customization made to the source Annotation Toolbar is also applied to the Annotation Toolbar in your Pencil Case.
  • Right-clicking your Pencil Case and selecting [Annotation Toolbar Options] displays [Annotation Toolbar Options] window. Then you can customize any items other than [Size of toolbar].

Registering an annotation tool

Procedure
1.
Select one of pasted annotations, and drag and drop it onto the frequently used Annotation Toolbar in your Pencil Case.
The [Add to Annotation Toolbar] dialog box appears.

Set each item, and click [OK].
The corresponding annotation tool is registered with the annotation toolbar at the position where you dropped the annotation.
Note
Up to 50 annotation tools can be registered with the frequently used Annotation Toolbar.

Reordering annotation tools

Procedure
1.
On the annotation toolbar, drag and drop the annotation tool button onto the desired position.
The display position of the annotation tool button is changed (moved).
Note
Press the <Ctrl> key while dragging and dropping an annotation tool button to copy it.

Deleting an annotation tool

Procedure
1.
Right-click the annotation tool button on the Annotation Toolbar, and select [Delete Annotation Toolbar].
The annotation tool button is deleted.

Changing properties of an annotation tool

Procedure
1.
Right-click the annotation tool button on the Annotation Toolbar, and select [Properties of Annotation Tools].
The properties dialog box appears.
2.
Set each item, and click [OK].
