[Difference Detection Settings] dialog box

You can make settings for detecting differences between files. This dialog box appears when you click the [Difference Detection] plug-in button.

[Comparison Source]

Enter the path of the source file. Either of the following will be displayed:
  • Path of the first selected file if two files are selected
  • Path of the selected file if only one file is selected
Click [Browse] to select a file. You can also enter a file path.

[Swap]

Switches between the paths of the source file and the target file.

[Comparison Target]

Enter the path of the target file. When you select two files, the path of the first selected file will be displayed. Click [Browse] to select a file. You can also enter a file path.

[Comparison Mode]

Select the comparison mode to use.
The default setting is [Convert to image and compare].

[Convert to image and compare]

Converts the pages to images and detects differences.

[Compare text only]

Extracts text from files and detects differences.

[Execute]

Starts the plug-in.

[Cancel]

Closes the dialog box without running the plug-in.
 
Note
  • You can specify DocuWorks files (. xdw), DocuWorks binders (. xbd), or PDF files (.pdf) for [Comparison Source] and [Comparison Target].
  • Match the formats (extensions) of the files specified for [Comparison Source] and [Comparison Target].
