Enlarging or Reducing Thumbnails

The thumbnails displayed in the workspace, are displayed by 17% of the original document size in default. You can change this zoom ratio between 10 to 34%.
Note
  • Even if you enlarge the thumbnail of a protected document, the thumbnail appears pixelated and not at the enlarged zoom ratio.
  • If you cleared [Same zoom ratio as the DocuWorks Desk settings] check box for a folder in the [Folder Property] dialog box, the zoom ratio of the thumbnail is maintained for each folder.

Enlarging or reducing thumbnails using slider bar

You can enlarge or reduce thumbnails using slider bar of Desk.

Enlarge or reduce thumbnails as follows.
  • Click [+] or [-] on the slider bar. The thumbnails are enlarged or reduced by 1% each time you click [+] or [-].
  • Drag the slider.
Current zoom ratio is displayed next to the slider bar.

Enlarging or reducing thumbnails using the mouse and the keyboard

Enlarging thumbnails

  • Press the <Ctrl>+<+> key.
  • Turn the mouse wheel away from you while pressing the <Ctrl> key when your mouse has a wheel function.

Reducing thumbnails

  • Press the <Ctrl>+<-> keys.
  • Turn the mouse wheel towards you while pressing the <Ctrl> key when your mouse has a wheel function.
Note
The combination of the direction in which to scroll the mouse wheel and the effects of zooming in/out depends on the settings for [Reverse zoom behavior with mouse wheel movement] in [DocuWorks Desk Options]-[View] in the [Preferences] dialog box.

Change the entire zoom ratio in batch.

You can specify the entire zoom ratio of the thumbnail for Desk.
Procedure
1.
Select [DocuWorks Desk Options] from the [File].
2.
Specify the zoom ratio in [Zoom ratio of thumbnails] under [General] in [DocuWorks Desk Options], then click [OK]. You can specify the zoom ratio by entering the integer between 10 to 34%.
Note
If you cleared [Same zoom ratio as the DocuWorks Desk settings] in [Folder Property] dialog box, you cannot change the zoom ratio of the thumbnail using the above operations.
