Saving an Existing File with a New Name
This topic describes how to save an existing file as a different file by giving it a new name.
Use this procedure to save a file in a folder other than the Desk folders.

Procedure
1.
Select the desired file, then select [Save As] from the [File] menu.
The [Save As] dialog box appears.

Specify the folder to which you want to save the file and the new file name, then select [Save].
Note
- The following characters cannot be used in file or folder names:
\ / : * ? " < > | - You cannot start a file name with a space.
- A file name including its path cannot exceed 255 alphanumeric characters.
- You can also save files to a non-Desk directory using dragging-and-dropping, copying-and-pasting, or cutting-and-pasting.
