[Extract Marked Area - Plug-in Settings] Dialog Box

This dialog box appears when you attempt to register the Extract Marked Area plug-in, or to change the settings.

[Basic] tab

[Extraction Area]

  • [Area marked by highlighter or annotation]
    Extracts the areas marked with highlighter on a paper document as well as the areas marked with annotations.
  • [Area marked by annotation]
    Extract the areas marked with annotations.

[Shape of Extraction Area]

  • [Auto]
    Extracts marked areas as square areas around them. For example, if you mark the area with an ellipse, an area for a rectangle around the ellipse is extracted.
    The [Check Extraction Area] dialog box allows you to resize or delete an area.
  • [Marker Shape]
    Extracts the exact area marked.

[Output Page Number of Extraction Area]

Prints the page numbers in the source document of the extracted areas, onto the output.

[Check extraction area before output to file]

Allows you to check the areas to be extracted on the preview screen displayed after you have started the extract process.
When [Auto] is selected for [Shape of Extraction Area], you can resize or delete an area.

[Select the specification method of extraction area at runtime]

Set whether to display the [Select Extraction Area] dialog box when you attempt to execute the plug-in.

[Details] tab

Configure advanced settings to be applied when extracting areas, such as the font size or thickness recognizable as character, or the dimensions recognizable as marker.
