Downloading Files from the Cloud
This topic describes how to download files from the cloud.
Connectable cloud service
The connectable cloud service is OneDrive for Business. Thus, you need a license for OneDrive for Business.
You can download only files from the personal folder on OneDrive. Files in the shared folder cannot be downloaded. This feature is unavailable with OneDrive free plan, OneDrive premium, and SharePoint Online.

To connect to a cloud service, you need one of the following licenses:

Setting up the button to download files from the cloud
Procedure
1.
On the [Commands] tab in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box, click [Tool] from [Categories].
This displays a list of commands included in [Tool] under [Commands].
2.
Drag and drop the [Download from Cloud Service] button from [Commands] into the toolbar or task toolbar.
3.
Specify the folder to display at run time, then select [Save].
The [Settings for Download from Cloud Service] dialog box closes.
4.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box closes.
Downloading files
Note
- Folders cannot be downloaded.
- Files cannot be downloaded to extended folders.
- You cannot perform any other Desk operations while downloading a file.
Procedure
1.
Open a folder to store the downloaded files.
2.
Click the [Download from Cloud Service] button in the toolbar or task toolbar.
Select the file(s) to download in the [Select File] dialog box.
Files are downloaded in the selected order.

Click the [Download] button.
The file(s) will begin downloading. The [Select File] dialog box closes and the progress is displayed in the [Download] dialog box.
When the download is complete, the downloaded files in the destination folder will be selected in the workspace.
If a file with the same name already exists in the destination folder, a delimiter and a number will be appended to the name of the downloaded file.
