Executing Buttons on the Task Toolbar Consecutively
You can execute commands assigned to the task toolbar consecutively, from left to right. The process can be paused or aborted.

If you want to include a plug-in created with DocuWorks Development Toolkit in consecutive execution, ensure it is thoroughly tested beforehand.
Arranging the buttons for consecutive execution
Procedure
1.
On the [Commands] tab in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box, click [Consecutive Execution] from [Categories].
This displays a list of commands for [Consecutive Execution] in the task toolbar under [Commands].

Drag and drop [Start] from [Commands] to the task toolbar.
The [Consecutive Execution Settings] dialog box appears.

Set up the consecutive execution, then click [OK].
The [Consecutive Execution Settings] dialog box closes.
4.
Place the buttons to the right of [Start] in the order you want them to be executed consecutively.
- You can pause consecutive execution by placing [Pause/Resume].
- Once any of the following buttons finishes processing, consecutive execution will pause, or it will end if it is the final step. When processing is paused, click [Resume] to continue.

Drag and drop [End] from [Commands] to the right of the last button in the consecutive execution sequence.
Consecutive execution is set up once you have placed the buttons from [Start] to [End].
Note
[Start] placed between [Start] and [End] will be ignored.
Without [End], all buttons to the right of [Start] will be executed.
Without [End], all buttons to the right of [Start] will be executed.
Executing the placed buttons consecutively
Note
During consecutive execution, [Automatically set files added from other programs to "selected"] is disabled in [Document Operation] under [DocuWorks Desk Options] in the [Preferences] dialog box.
Procedure
1.
Click [Start] placed on the task toolbar.
The [Consecutive Execution] dialog box appears.
Note
Consecutive execution can also be started by selecting a tab from [Task Toolbar] in the [Tool] menu and clicking [Start].
You can pause or abort consecutive execution.
[Pause] / [Resume]
When you click [Pause] and the ongoing processing finishes, consecutive execution pauses. Click [Resume] to resume consecutive execution, starting from the button to the right of the marked button. These buttons are available when the [Mark the last Task Toolbar button that was pressed] check box is selected in [DocuWorks Desk Options].
[Abort]
When you click [Abort] and the ongoing processing finishes, consecutive execution will be aborted.
Note
- When consecutive execution is paused, you can also resume it by selecting a tab from [Task Toolbar] in the [Tool] menu and clicking [Pause/Resume].
- The following operations cannot be performed during consecutive execution.
- Mouse and/or keyboard actions for Desk
- Closing the [Consecutive Execution] dialog box
- You cannot start another consecutive execution while the current execution is paused.
- If you remove the mark from a button that was executed before the pause, consecutive execution cannot be resumed. To resume, re-mark the paused button.
