Adding a Button on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box is displayed to enable you to change the setting of the toolbar or task toolbar.
2.
Open the [Commands] tab in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box, then select a command category from [Categories].
This displays a list of commands included in the selected category on [Commands].
3.
Drag and drop the target button from [Commands] to the task toolbar.
4.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Adding a Folder as a Button on the Task Toolbar
If necessary, you can add folders in the Folder area to buttons on the task toolbar. Clicking the button of the target folder displays the contents of the folder in the Workspace.
Procedure
1.
Right-click the folder to be registered on the task toolbar in the Folder area.
2.
Select [Add to Task Toolbar] from the shortcut menu.
The specified folder icon is added as a button on the task toolbar.
You can change the folder icons. When you right-click an icon and select [Change Icon] from the shortcut menu, the [Change Icon] dialog box appears.

When you add a Neighbor's Desk, Device Folder, or Extended Folder, a folder icon merged with each top icon (such as

) is displayed.

Procedure
1.
Right-click a button on the task toolbar, then select [Rename] from the shortcut menu.
The [Rename Feature] dialog box appears.
2.
Enter a new name into [Feature Name], then click [OK].
Note
Specify the name using up to 40 half-width characters. When you are using IME, environment dependent characters (Unicode) you enter may be converted to "?".
Also, Unicode unique characters cannot be used in feature names.

Changing the Order of the Buttons on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box is displayed to enable you to change the setting of the toolbar or task toolbar.
2.
Drag a button on the task toolbar, then drop it on the destination position in the tab.
3.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Automatically Expanding the Spaces Between the Buttons on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box appears.
2.
On the [Task Toolbar Tab] tab, select the [Increase the space bet&ween buttons on Task Toolbar] checkbox.
3.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Displaying the Properties of a Button on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Right-click a button on the task toolbar, then select [Properties] from the shortcut menu.
The properties are displayed only if the button supports displaying its properties.
Deleting a Button from the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Right-click a button on the task toolbar, then select [Delete] from the shortcut menu.
2.
Click [Yes] in the dialog box confirming deletion.
Renaming a Tab on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Right-click a tab on the task toolbar, then select [Rename] from the shortcut menu.
The [Rename Tab] dialog box appears.
2.
Enter a new name and click [OK].

Changing the Order of the Tabs on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box is displayed to enable you to change the setting of the task toolbar.
2.
In the list on the [Task Toolbar Tab] tab, set the order in which the tabs are displayed.
Select a tab in the list, and click [Move up] or [Move down].
The selected tabs in the list are displayed in order from left to right on the task toolbar.
3.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Showing and Hiding the Tabs on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box is displayed to enable you to change the setting of the task toolbar.
2.
On the [Task Toolbar Tab] tab, specify whether to show or hide the tabs in the list.
The selected tabs are displayed.
3.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Deleting a Tab from the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Right-click a tab on the task toolbar, then select [Delete] from the shortcut menu.
2.
Click [Yes] in the dialog box confirming deletion.
Adding a Tab on the Task Toolbar
Up to 30 tabs can be added to Task Toolbar.
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box appears.
2.
Click [Add New Tab to Task Toolbar].
The [New Task Toolbar] dialog box appears.
3.
Enter the tab name into [Tab Name], then click [OK].
A new task toolbar appears.

4.
Open the [Commands] tab in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box, then select a command category from [Categories].

Repeat this step until you have all desired buttons on the task toolbar.

Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Resizing the Tabs on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Select [Tool Settings] from the [Toolbars] menu.
The [Toolbar Options] dialog box appears.
2.
On the [Task Toolbar Tab] tab, select the tab size.
The default is [Standard].
3.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.
Changing the Icon and Color of a Tab on the Task Toolbar
Procedure
1.
Right-click a tab on the task toolbar, then select [Properties] from the shortcut menu.
The [Tab Properties] dialog box appears.
2.
Specify the icon and color of the tab and click [OK] in the [Tab Properties] dialog box.
The [Tab Properties] dialog box closes.
Exporting a Tab from the Task Toolbar
You can export a tab on the task toolbar to a file.
Procedure
1.
Right-click a tab on the task toolbar, then select [Export] from the shortcut menu.
The [Save As] dialog box appears.
Note
The [Export DocuWorks Settings] dialog box remains displayed behind the [Save As] dialog box, with the check box for the name of the tab to be exported being selected.
2.
Specify the file name and the folder to save the file, then click [Save].
The tab on the toolbar is exported to the file.
Association with DocuWorks Tray
A tray of "DocuWorks Tray" can be added as a button on the task toolbar.
The tray button added onto the task toolbar shows information similar to tray gadget information such as the number of documents or a new message display. Clicking the tray button displays the tray window.

Adding a Tray Button
You can add the tray button on the task toolbar in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box. Drag-and-drop it, and the [Button Settings] dialog box is displayed.
Select a tray in the [Button Settings] dialog box, then click [OK] to add a tray button to the task toolbar.
