Creating Documents by Printing to a DocuWorks Printer
You can convert application data to a DocuWorks document by printing the data to the DocuWorks Printer from the application.
Use the [Print] command of the application to create a DocuWorks document.

Note
- You can embed fonts in DocuWorks documents using DocuWorks Printer. Conduct printing by selecting the [Embed Font in Document] check box on the [Quality] tab of [Properties] in DocuWorks Printer.
- When you create a DocuWorks document using the DocuWorks Printer, the original data are not attached.
- The application file summary (such as its title and author) is not inherited.
Procedure
1.
In the application, open the file you want to convert into a DocuWorks document, then select the [Print] command.
The [Print] dialog box appears.
Note
Some applications may not display the [Print] dialog box. In such cases, change the printer setting of the application or the default printer for Windows to use the DocuWorks Printer.

For the printer name, select [DocuWorks Printer], then click [Properties].
The [DocuWorks Printer Properties] dialog box appears.

Select the desired options and click [OK].
The [Print] dialog box reappears.

Click [OK] in the [Print] dialog box.
The corresponding DocuWorks document is created in a Desk folder or in the location you specified.
