Browser Extension (Changes from ver. 1.0.0 to ver. 1.0.1)

  • Starting with version 9.1.6, the browser extension (DocuWorks Viewer Light) for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (excluding Internet Explorer mode) now allows you to view DocuWorks files stored on the following cloud services directly within your browser.
    • OneDrive for Business
    • Sharepoint Online
    • Teams

  • A toolbar function that allows you to perform various operations, a thickness display function, and a pinning function have been added, for use when temporarily zooming thumbnails in DocuWorks Desk. Additionally, thumbnails of PDF documents can now be temporarily zoomed.
  • Each page in the DocuWorks Viewer page list screen can now be zoomed temporarily.
  • Documents in a variety of formats on DocuWorks Desk can now be converted to DocuWorks documents and bundled.
    It is also possible to convert documents to PDF documents and bind them together.
  • It is now possible to convert files into PDF documents when loading them into DocuWorks Desk.
  • Differences between DocuWorks documents and PDF documents can now be detected. You can compare text only, or make comparisons with converted images.
  • Attribute display and update processing of PDF documents in DocuWorks Desk has been improved.
  • It is now possible to open containers in DocuWorks Desk and to work directly with the contents on the workspace.
  • It is now possible to open multiple items in a container simultaneously while the container is open in DocuWorks Viewer.
  • Added a grid display as a new DocuWorks display format.
  • It is now possible to set colors and icons for tabs in the DocuWorks Desk task toolbar.
    It is now possible to show/hide tabs in the DocuWorks Desk task toolbar.
  • Added a function to batch-organize notes to which index attributes are attached.
  • It is now possible to consecutively execute commands assigned to the task toolbar.
  • Documents can now be loaded into binders and containers with a single click on DocuWorks Desk.
  • Added a [ZIP Compression/Extraction] plug-in. This plug-in allows ZIP files to be compressed or extracted on DocuWorks Desk.
  • Files can now be moved using toolbar button operations.
  • File names can now be changed in bulk based on pre-configured naming rules on DocuWorks Desk.
  • Added a [Batch Select Files] plug-in. This plug-in allows batch selection of documents with matching conditions.
  • The font used when pasting text from the clipboard can now be set in advance.
  • Added a function to display a use history in the pulldown menu for selecting font names in text annotation, etc.
  • "Other colors" can now be set for DocuWorks binder colors.
  • Changed the default settings for the DocuWorks Desk preferences to the following values.
    • Document Operation: Changed "Digits for number at end of document name (N)" from 1 digit to 3 digits
    • View: Changed "Expand height of folder tree and list view (workspace) (W)" from unselected to selected
  • Multiple documents can now be rotated at once on DocuWorks Desk.
  • The maximum for the DocuWorks Desk toolbar/task toolbar have been changed as follows.
    • Standard features allocatable to toolbar: 100 items → 200 items
    • Folder shortcuts allocatable to toolbar: 100 items → 200 items
    • Plug-in functions allocatable to toolbar: 100 items → 300 items
    • Number of tabs that can be created in the task toolbar: 20 items → 30 items
  • Added a [Download from Cloud Service] function. If you are able to use DocuWorks Cloud Connect, DocuWorks Subscription, or DocuWorks Subscription Suite, this plug-in now allows you to download files from OneDrive for Business to DocuWorks Desk.
  • "High compression DocuWorks (MRC compression)" can now be selected as a compression format when loading image files.
  • The DocuWorks tray and Viewer Control setting screen are now integrated with the DocuWorks preferences.
  • DocuWorks tray and Viewer Control settings can be imported and exported.
  • The tray now supports Vietnamese language.
  • When multiple files are selected in DocuWorks Desk, the number of files selected is now displayed in the status bar.
  • It is now possible to specify the folder to open when starting DocuWorks Desk.
  • It is now possible to select the document types that will be displayed as thumbnails in the tray window. Additionally, PDF and Microsoft Office documents have been added to the document types displayed as thumbnails.
  • Added PDF documents to the files that can be enlarged in thumbnail view using the <CTRL> and <SHIFT> keys in the tray window.
  • Added web browser extensions to the functions for which the DocuWorks usage environment display tool outputs debugging information.
  • The DocuWorks Document Property Entry "Edit Attributes" screen can now display up to 50 items.
  • Two registration designations can now be registered in DocuWorks Document Property Entry "Edit Attributes."
    Additionally, it is now possible to set an output destination and whether or not to backup processed documents.
  • It is now possible to search by fiscal year in the "Search Attributes" for the DocuWorks Document Property Entry. (Available in Japanese only)
